Presentation

|| The Witch's objective is to defeat the Werewolves. The Witch wakes up every night and can use one of her two potions: save the Werewolves victim, or kill another player.

The Witch can only use one potion every night. She can choose to do nothing.
She only has one of each potion.
Her potion overrides the Guard or the Hunter over the Red Riding Hood's protection.

Using your healing potion

The strategies surrounding the Witch's role can vary according to their playing style. Some would suggest using your healing potion during the first round, some would prefer to use it later, and others would use their potion on themselves and them only.

Here are some interesting tricks:

Using your healing potion during the first round guarantees you to save at least one player through the game. You can clear a player, at least on the first day, and you are sure not to lose both of your potions if you get killed during day one.
Saving another player can allow you to know who is innocent. Be careful, the Wolves can trick you and vote for one of their own, and the Sick Rat could be taken as a target.

Roles

There are 20 roles proposed on Wolfy : 3 Wolves, 3 Solitaries and 14 Villagers.

Werewolves' Camp

There are 3 roles in the Werewolves' party : Werewolf, Black Wolf and Talkative Wolf. Their objective is to eliminate all the innocent and solitary players.

Werewolf

|| Defeating the villagers is their objective. During that night, the Werewolves join together and vote on who should be eliminated. During the day, they cannot be unmasked.

The Werewolves are called once per night. They can discuss with other Wolves during their voting phase.
If the vote leads to a tie, a player dies randomly among those who were targeted in the tie.
No player will die if the Wolves don't target anyone.

Contact the Moderation

In case of misunderstanding, dispute of a punishment, or ask a question about the game, it is possible to speak with a moderator in order to obtain answers. To do so, several means are at your disposal:

Live chat

Live chat allows you to have a conversation with a moderator directly from the Wolfy support website.

In order to contact a moderator, you just have to go to the support page, click on the "contact" bubble at the bottom right of your screen. You will have to fill in your information (email and username) and explain your problem. A moderator will answer you as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that if the person talking to you is from the villagers' side, they are a moderator. If they are a wolf, they are a developer or a manager.

|| Keep in mind that the live chat is not an instant chat, you will receive a response as soon as possible, a short delay may apply. Once the chat has started, you can explain your problem. A robot will then ask you to enter your email address and your Wolfy username. Finally, a moderator will answer your request.

Playing the Cupid

Easy to understand, the Cupid is an easy role to play, if you stay attentive of your couple. However, it is less obvious to know how to play when you've been designated as a lover by Cupid.

Presentation

|| Defeating the Werewolves is his objective. The first night, he designate two lovers. If one of them dies, the other will follow them to their grave.

Cupid only has the power to designate the two lovers. Once they've been named, he becomes similar to a Simple Villager.
He can auto-designate himself as a lover.
The two lovers can be in different teams. If a Wolf is coupled with an innocent, they need to eliminate all the players to win the game.
The two lovers can discuss at any moment through a private chat that you can activate via the button on the left of where you write messages.
Copying the text indicating the information on your couple in the chat is considered as unfair gameplay.
The Cupid does not win with lovers but with the innocents or with werewolves if he is infected.

Strategies

The role of the werewolf is not the easiest role to hide from the other players. In fact, any attempt at revealing another role as your own, inevitably risks being challenged by that same role owned by another player. Moreover, the presence of "informational roles" (Seer, Mentalist, Necromancer etc.), his task is complexified as the game progresses, the rounds pass and the increasing risk of the truth being exposed to the village. The mythical role of the werewolf, the Seer has a very powerful and dangerous power for Werewolves who wish to remain anonymous at all costs. It is also a difficult role to play because she will be one of the first targets of the Werewolves.

Strategies

Revealing a Werewolf

If you discover a werewolf, you can decide to reveal your role in order to kill them as soon as possible, but you risk incurring the wrath of the pack. In this case, you must be cunning and try to get the message across to the innocents without letting them know that you know too much. One technique is to carry your suspicions to the Werewolves during the day without showing any certainty. This way, when you die, the villagers can trace the messages and learn the identity of the Werewolves you have been tracking.
